Promote veganism…
for an hour or two

Got a little extra time on the weekends or even a few free evenings a week? Step it up a notch and accomplish even greater feats for farm animals, the Earth and all its inhabitants.

At Home

  • Respond to relevant news and write a letter to the editor about the many benefits of vegetarianism.
  • Write an educational vegan-themed op-ed for your local newspaper.
  • Throw a dinner party and introduce family, friends and co-workers to fine vegan cuisine.
  • Create a blog that focuses on vegan food, fashion, cruelty-free products, or some other fun, educational veg-related topic.
  • Purchase advertisement space in your local newspaper and run a pro-vegan ad.

At Work or School

  • Organize a vegan food drive for your local food bank.
  • Bring vegan baked goods to your office or class on holidays and other special occasions.
  • Encourage your company to make cruelty-free investments or match gifts for organizations that promote compassion.
  • Talk to your school or employer about providing cruelty-free products for bathrooms and common areas.
  • Ask co-workers and classmates to participate in a veg-friendly fundraiser, like a veg-a-thon or our annual Walk for Farm Animals.
