Learning
about a whole new way of eating and thinking about food can be very exciting
for kids and parents alike. Whether you create vegetarian versions of
a child's former favorites or experiment with feeding them completely
unfamiliar dishes, cooking with a wide variety of fruits, vegetables,
beans, and whole grains will allow kids to sample lots of different, visually
appealing foods, and hopefully even inspire them to adopt healthy eating
habits that'll last a lifetime. Remember, involving kids in snack or meal
preparation is also a great way to teach them about the joys of eating
veg!
